Love of my Life [ Jiwon x Chanyeol ]

He knew he had to grow up fast. Part of it because he’s already nineteen going on twenty. Mostly because he wanted to be mature enough to be with her. After their falling out months ago, he thought because he wasn’t mature. Until she revealed the truth to him. But still, that’s no excuse to be a child. She’s a celebrity, and if she has a childish boyfriend, no one would take him seriously as her boyfriend.
Chanyeol never expected her to get pregnant. (Erika did, and scolded Chanyeol for never using condoms). And now here he is, a proud father of the most precious gift anyone can ever give to him. A gift that shares mostly the features of his girlfriend with evidence of his corrupted genes in the puff of fur around her. Despite his own self-hate for the wolf part of him, there was nothing but love for the wolf part of her.

Even through the support he provides for her and their baby, Jiwon still tries to steal as much time with Min as possible,. Not that she doesn’t believe he is doing a good job or anything like that but because she worries he’ll try to take on too much in an attempt to be more adultlike. Of course he’s matured so much since they first met and through all the bumps in the road they faced the past two years they’ve grown together. Jiwon’s ideal’s have always been wanting him to be a normal boy his age to really experience what it was like being human.

One of her favorite things to see is Chanyeol and Min. Knowing about his family makes her feel like maybe she was offering him another chance to grow up surrounded by his own flesh and blood again. Not that Mirai and Erika weren’t family already but the mother couldn’t deny there was just something special about having a family of her own. Hopefully Chanyeol felt this way too. Without missing a beat Jiwon kneels beside him and spills the toys in her arms off to the side. She leans over to press a soft kiss to his cheek and grabs a teddy bear and sits it on her lap. “Do you want to play with her while I finish the dishes?”

Being human again was hard, and almost immediately he found himself urging into adulthood. He learned how to properly love someone. He learned how to take care of himself. He learned to be satisfied with the way things are.
As he was washing the dishes, he then hears the fussing sound in the living room and he chuckles, taking his washing gloves off and heading into the room. Instantly, small doe eyes like her mother’s stared at him, and he smiles as he approaches her, running his hand down her head gently. “Hey baby girl,” a smile comes on the baby’s face and Chanyeol smiles back, kissing her forehead.

Long before their baby was born Jiwon was worried about forcing Chanyeol into being adult. She wanted him to enjoy his age and face adulthood at a steady natural pace. However he never made her feel like she was forcing anything onto him and made every step into parenthood easier than she had feared. Jiwon never felt alone or helpless and he proved over and over again that she could count on him.

So when Min began to fuss and Jiwon had stepped away to find one of her favorite toys, it was no surprise to find him there when she returned, hands full of rattles and stuffed animals. When Chanyeol kisses her forehead a squeal leaves Jiwon as she hugs the toys to her chest. “Why are you so cute?”

it’s been pretty slow around here for a while now and frankly i don’t have the will to pick things back up, even if i’ve met some amazing people who have really helped keep this place alive for me. so because i just hit 2.4k followers—kinda crazy seeing how far i’ve come over time—i decided i might as well do this as my official goodbye for now. i’ve been around since july 2012 so naturally this isn’t anywhere near the first time i take a hiatus, but somehow i always manage to come back at one point or another. not to mention, typist’s life is currently way too hectic to prioritize keeping up with this, so the only place you’ll really be able to find me is probably aim. that being said, onto the fun part!

6 MONTHS + 700 FOLLOWERS !
I was debating on whether or not I should do this, but after being tagged in a few, I decided to do one of my own! Six months – where has the time gone? Half a year isn’t a very long time in the long run, but so much has happened in that time span. To be honest, I never thought this muse would make it too far. I didn’t expect to click so well with her, and I was almost certain she’d be neglected. I have no idea what was going through my mind when I started out here, but I’m really glad I went through with it. The results were really unexpected, and I guess this muse didn’t flop – I’ve gotten to know and interact with all sorts of people, a lot who came and went, but I’m really grateful for those who have stuck around and put up with all the silliness. Enough with the sappiness, this one’s for you guys!

He laughed at her adorable expression, reaching his large hand to rest gently on her head, ruffling the soft strands gently. “I know, I know I was just kidding Jiwon.” He pulled his hand back, sliding it into the smooth denim pocket of his jeans. He looked at his friend, the new mother still glowing from her pregnancy. His pink lips form a soft smile, eyes twinkling as he looked upon her. “How is motherhood treating you?”

Jiwon’s lips instant purse to further accentuate her pouty expression when he ruffles her hair. It doesn’t stay because he asks one of her favorite questions and her whole face lights up. “Motherhood is actually nice. I can’t lie there are a lot of things that make me panic or stress out but it’s rewarding too! Min laughs a lot and it’s so precious I can’t stay feeling frustrated. She makes me feel all warm and gooey inside. You should totally be a mother, it’s nice.”

nyx is known to be quite dramatic. which would explain her outburst of “ it’s all lies and slander ” just moments before. but she takes nervous glances around the room, unable to meet the eyes of the older girl in front of her. and there’s a hand that’s quick to go up to wipe the slightest bit of chocolate off her lips. that’s some evidence erased. ❝ sorry, what? you sure you didn’t just misplace them or something? ❞

Jiwon is no fool when it comes to playing off a little fib. Lord only knows how often she does it with her boyfriend when she does things he scolds her for or when she’s playing around to get his attention. She does it with friends sometimes too but hasn’t been in the habit of it lately since she’s been so busy with her baby. She almost scoffs because it’s hard now to have noticed the chocolate. “I lose things all the time but I take my snacks very seriously missy.”

The first time we met I treated you to an all you can eat and I thought you were such a goofy, bright person. Cocky and funny. A little mysterious and a lot guarded but cute and full of life. You didn't know what I did for work and I didn't know why I'd upset you sometimes without understand why. There was so many things we didn't tell each other and things got messy kind of quickly. The easy way we could be around each other started to get harder to grasp onto, it was so hard to keep you by my side. Although I'd always been nervous around you I wanted to be around you anyway. You made me feel so accepted. You made me feel safe and things were so much better when your arms were around me. I craved you so deeply it was so scary and I know that used to scare you too.

We weren't together and it was hard for me to be so attached to someone and not be able to claim them as mine but I worried. I worried about you and I worried about how things would go between us. You tried so hard to keep me away but I was really selfish at the time... I just wanted to be around you so much. Then you saved my life. I finally saw what you'd been hiding from me, what you were so afraid of. I only saw someone who was scared and hurt and even though you hve Erika and Mirai I knew you were alone. You were afraid I'd see you as a monster and I was afraid you'd never want to see me again. I didn't see a monster. I still don't see a monster.

It never stopped me from trying to be with you. I dont know when it happened but I realized I cared for you so much stronger than a friend would, more than a lover. But with how twisted and messy things were between us the word love was out of the question. Still I wanted you in my life and things started to look like you'd be in it. Until I started to learn about the part you tried to keep hidden from me. I learned something that broke my heart and make me realize I couldn't keep you by my side. I thought that fate wasn't kind to me, that it liked to hurt me where I couldn't heal. Finding out that you had someone who was fated to be with you, that you'd know her when you saw her, broke me more than I ever could express. I loved you but no matter how much I felt that way you'd end up with someone else. Someone meant for you, perfect for you. It wasn't me. Someone would take you from me.

I didn't want to be around when it happened. I was cowardly and scared and I left you but not before hurting myself even more. Hearing you say you loved me too hurt so much. I never realized how much I wanted to hear those words from you until you said them but they were like salt on a knife wound. You loved me. You wanted me, you wanted me for your own but I knew it that someone would come and it would be as if you never felt that way. You'd said I Love You to her. Those words wouldn't be for me and I couldn't bear the thought. I ran away because I was scared of being left alone. Fate was not happy with me.

❝ Three long months without you

I tried hard, to find happiness somewhere else. With someone else. I thought it was going fine, better than fine things were good. Until what I was so afraid of came and found me anyway. I thought you would leave me but instead he did and I felt so much pain. He pulled emotions out of me that were ugly and made me feel so low. So horrible and wrong and I had no one to hold me and make me feel like I wasn't alone when in fact everything I had left with ~~him~~. I had nothing except regret. Regret that I had leaned on ~~him~~ so much. Regret that I had given up on you. I realized I had experienced what I put you through. I left you for someone, leaving you to hurt without looking back. The only solice I found was that at least you had Erika and Mirai there for you. At least you weren't alone.

I had never felt so low in my life but I wanted to fix things. When everything around me was broken I could do nothing but try and fix it. But like shards of glass everything and everyone only cut me, made me bleed. Made me suffer for what I did. Fate was punishing me. I deserved it but it made me want to seek solice in your arms. It made me seek out that secruity you gave me. That acceptance that I had lost. Slowly those cuts started to coagulate, when I started to be able to hold myself together I ran into you and fell apart all over again.

Maybe the higher powers that may be thought I had suffered enough. Maybe they thought I didn't suffer enough. Or maybe they were looking out for you and your heart instead. Either way I saw you and my tender, beat up heart rattled in my chest like a single coin in a child's piggy bank. The sound it made was pathetic and it ached so much. I was happy. I was sad. I was proud. I was guilty. I was grateful. I was scared. I didn't know what to feel seeing you so suddenly. Seeing how little yet much you actually did change in the past three months. You were my light in the dark but I couldn't pick myself up to go to you. I didn't deserve it. I had hurt you.

Then I heard your voice, that deep rumble that used to whisper how beautiful you thought I was. Your voice that used to tease me, made me embarrassed. Your voice that soothed me when I was scared and upset. Your voice that cried the words "I love you" the night before I had ran away. Your voice that told me you were scared to see me so suddenly as I was to see you. The sound I had loved, still love, had graced my ears. The yearning I felt for you that I tried to subdue surfaced so fast I thought I was going to faint right there in that store.

There was nothing else I was sure of as much as that moment but I needed to make things right with you. I needed to. But you had different plans. The hurt I'd given you made you push me away and it was like deja vu. You used to try and cut our time short months ago, before I found out your secret. The memory stirred in pain but it also reminded me that I had once fought so hard to be around you. Why did I ever stop? Why did I let my fear criple me so fatally? I couldn't let it but I also didn't want to step on fragil bridges. Neither of us were ready to be around each other just yet.

The second time we met I remember thinking I was being punished by the gods. I was so happy to see you, to hear your voice, to be around you again but you were so guarded. Trying to escape that I felt so bad. I'm horrible at being subtle, you know that best, but I tried to keep you around a little longer anyway. Greedy for your presence. It only resulted in awkward, tense feelings. Then you found out that he wasn't in the picture and I don't think I could ever properly describe the emotions I felt seeing how happy you were. You were happy and I know it was because things didn't work out between me and ~~him~~ but honestly I didn't care. You were happy. You were emotional, you didn't hate me. You pulled me into your arms and I felt all the pain and anxiety just fall from my body.

How suddenly we had gone from walking on our toes to being able to sit and talk and laugh blew me away. Of course we were still nervous, still scared, but we also almost fell entirely into that completely comfortable place we made for ourselves. You held my hand and I clung desperately to the strength in it. To your eager care, your worry and affection. I feared you hated me for what I did but you only showed me forgiveness and compassion. You showed me you still loved me, even after all this time. I still can't tell you how grateful I am. I don't think I could ever describe how hearing you ask if I could be yours made me feel even deeper in love with you that I already was.

Officially I can call you my boyfriend. Officially I can claim you as my own. This time around I don't plan on messing things up with you. Not ever. I'm going to try harder than before to show you how much you mean to me. We had so many miscomunications before and I'm going to be more honest with you from now on. After losing you the first time I've decided who ever your mate is doesn't matter to me. I've decided I'm going to love you shamelessly and make every second count. You're mine, you always will be mine and nothing will ever change that. I'm yours, solely yours and never will anyone have me or love me the way you do. No one could come close to you.
